Identification of potential autoantigens in anti-CCP-positive and anti-CCP-negative rheumatoid arthritis using citrulline-specific protein arrays. [PDF]
AbstractThe presence or absence of autoantibodies against citrullinated proteins (ACPAs) distinguishes two main groups of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients with different etiologies, prognoses, disease severities, and, presumably, disease pathogenesis.

Anti‐CCP: History and its Usefulness [PDF]
Antibodies directed to cyclic citrullinated peptides (anti‐CCP) are highly specific for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and can easily be detected in sera by using commercially available immunoassays. The second version of the anti‐CCP test (anti‐CCP2) demonstrated high specificity (89‐98%) and good sensitivity (41‐88%)

Prevalence of anti-CCP antibodies in systemic sclerosis
Joint involvement in systemic sclerosis (SSc) commonly occurs as arthralgias, while a true arthritis is less frequent. The most common arthritis developing in SSc is rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and its diagnosis may be misled by concomitant joint contracture or tendon sheath involvement due to SSc.

Anti-CCP Antibodies Are Not Associated with Familial Mediterranean Fever in Childhood [PDF]
Objective. Anticyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies (anti-CCP) testing is useful in the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) with high specificity. Arthritis is a very common clinical manifestation in children with familial Mediterranean fever (FMF).

Usefulness of anti -CCP antibodies in rheumatic diseases in Indian patients [PDF]
The usefulness of anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibodies (anti-CCP antibodies) to identify rheumatic arthritis (RA) from other rheumatic diseases presenting with joint pain is not well studied. We aimed to determine the sensitivity and specificity of anti-CCP antibodies in Indian RA patients with respect to non-RA rheumatic diseases and to study ...

The association of anti-CCP antibodies with disease activity in rheumatoid arthritis [PDF]
Antibodies to citrullinated proteins have been described in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and these appear to be the most specific markers of the disease. Our objective was to determine the frequency of antibodies to cyclic citrullinated peptides (CCPs) in patients with RA and the association of anti-CCP antibodies with disease activity ...

Possible Role of Anti-Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide Antibody (Anti-CCP Ab) in Rheumatic Diseases [PDF]
Background: Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) antibodies are highly specific for RA, but are not detectable in all RA patients, in addition their usefulness to identify rheumatic arthritis (RA) from other rheumatic diseases presenting with ...

The influence of polygenic risk scores on heritability of anti-CCP level in RA [PDF]
The objective of this study was to study genetic factors that influence quantitative anticyclic citrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) antibody levels in RA patients. We carried out a genome-wide association study (GWAS) meta-analysis using 1975 anti-CCP+ RA patients from three large cohorts, the Brigham Rheumatoid Arthritis Sequential Study (BRASS), North ...

Anti-citrullinated protein antibodies in the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA): diagnostic performance of automated anti-CCP-2 and anti-CCP-3 antibodies assays. [PDF]
This study compares the diagnostic performance of a second generation anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody (CCP2) with a third generation anti-CCP antibodies assay (CCP3), as well as the combination of both tests. Serum samples of 127 patients were analyzed.
