Parallel Splitting for RFID tag anti-collision

When multiple tags transmit their IDs to the reader simultaneously, collisions occur and the performance of tag identification degrades.

Silence Coding for RFID Tag Anti-Collision
2016 IEEE 41st Conference on Local Computer Networks (LCN), 2016This paper proposes a tree-based RFID tag anti-collision protocol, called the silence coding query tree (SCQT) protocol, based on a novel coding scheme, namely the silence coding, to speed up tag identification. The proposed protocol can identify multiple tags at a time even at the appearance of tag signal collisions.
