Tag Anti-collision Algorithm Based on Information Bit Grouping [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2018
Aiming at the problem that the existing anti-collision algorithms based on tree have too many collision slots and low recognition efficiency,an anti-collision algorithm based on Information Bit Grouping (IBG) is proposed. The tags is grouped according to ...

Antenna Design for Semi-Passive UHF RFID Transponder with Energy Harvester [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
A novel microstrip antenna which is dedicated to UHF semi-passive RFID transponders with an energy harvester is presented in this paper. The antenna structure designed and simulated by using Mentor Graphics HyperLynx 3D EM software is described in ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Comparative Analysis of Anti-Collision Protocols in RFID [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Radio Frequency Identification, abbreviated as RFID which was originally invented as a replacement tool for bar-code scanning and identification has now evolved into a vital technology spanning across fields such as supply chain management, shipping of ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

A formal proof of the optimal frame setting for Dynamic-Frame Aloha with known population size [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In Dynamic-Frame Aloha subsequent frame lengths must be optimally chosen to maximize throughput. When the initial population size ${\cal N}$ is known, numerical evaluations show that the maximum efficiency is achieved by setting the frame length equal to

Expanding Chemical Space of Nucleic Acid Nanoparticles for Tunable Antiviral‐Like Immunomodulatory Responses and Potent Adjuvant Activity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a nucleic acid nanoparticle (NANP) platform designed to be rrecognized by the human innate immune system in a regulated manner. By changing chemical composition while maintaining constant architectural parameters, we identify key determinants of immunorecognition enabling the rational design of NANPs with tunable immune activation profiles

Synthetic Nanobiology Actuated Lipometabolic Cell Factory for Autologous Tumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
FA plays a crucial role in the interaction between tumor cells and the tumor microenvironment, especially for the immune response. A biocatalytic immunoenhancement strategy is developed to boost antitumor immunity by FA metabolic orientation to ceramide. Through the design of this delicate catalytic immunoenhancement strategy, the synthetic nanobiology

Evaluation of Centralized Reader Anti-Collision Protocols for Mobile RFID System Based on Maximum Independent Set: A Simulation Study

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) systems often encounter reader collisions when multiple readers interrogate tags at the same time. Especially in the mobile RFID system, the mobility of readers leads to more reader collisions.
