Anti-inflammatory activity of Commiphora molmol
Agents and Actions, 1986The petroleum ether extract of the oleo-gum resin of Commiphora molmol, at a dose of 500 mg/kg body weight, produced significant inhibition of carrageenan induced inflammation and cotton pellet granuloma. The extract also showed significant antipyretic activity in mice.

Anti-Inflammatory Activity of Gallic Acid
Planta Medica, 1992Gallic acid was found to possess antiinflammatory activity towards zymosan-induced acute food pad swelling in mice. In vitro studies on the mode of action of gallic acid revealed that this compound interferes with the functioning of polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs).

Anti-inflammatory activity of Taraxacum officinale
Journal of Ethnopharmacology, 2008Taraxacum officinale has been widely used as a folkloric medicine for the treatment of diverse diseases. The dried plant was extracted with 70% ethanol to generate its ethanol extract (TEE). For some experiments, ethyl acetate (EA), n-butanol (BuOH) and aqueous (Aq) fractions were prepared in succession from TEE. TEE showed a scavenging activity in the

Anti‐inflammatory activity of antifungal preparations
International Journal of Dermatology, 1997Abstract Background Although steroid/antifungal combination medications are used extensively, they are associated with potential disadvantages. Antifungal preparations possessing inherent anti‐inflammatory activity, leading to rapid symptomatic relief while providing mycologic cure, would be very useful.

Anti-inflammatory activity of Echinops echinatus
Journal of Ethnopharmacology, 1989Anti-inflammatory studies were conducted on an ethanol extract of Echinops echinatus whole plant. The extract effectively inhibited the acute inflammation induced in rats by carrageenan, formaldehyde and adjuvant and the chronic arthritis induced by formaldehyde and adjuvant. The extract was more effective parenterally than orally. The toxicity studies

Anti-inflammatory activity of Lippia dulcis
Journal of Ethnopharmacology, 2005Lippia dulcis hexane and ethanol extracts were tested for its anti-inflammatory activity in several animal models. Hexane extract showed to be inactive, but the ethanol extract at doses of 400 mg/kg produced significant inhibition of carrageenan-induced paw oedema and reduced the weight of cotton pellet-induced granuloma, moreover, the topical ...

Anti-inflammatory Activity of IgG-Fc
2019Over 80 different autoimmune disorders have been identified. A common denominator across most of these disorders is the presence of pathogenic autoantibodies. The pathogenic and inflammatory nature of antibodies is well accepted, and over the last three decades, evidence in humans and rodent models has revealed that antibodies can induce anti ...

Local anti-inflammatory activity of Tamus communis
Journal of Ethnopharmacology, 1987The effects of an ethanol root extract of Tamus communis were documented on cotton pellet granuloma in rats. The inhibitory effect of the solvent-free extract (5-20 mg/pellet) on granuloma formation was comparable to that of reference drugs benzydamine HCl (5-20 mg/pellet) and hydrocortisone (5 mg/pellet).
