This study assesses the presence, genotypes and clinical signs of E. cuniculi infection in pet rabbits in Slovenia. Molecular analysis reveals the presence of E. cuniculi DNA (Genotype I) in 14.98% rabbit urine samples, mostly in rabbits with signs of urinary tract disorders.

We evaluated the performance of an indirect immunofluorescence (IIF) assay for detecting anti‐Trypanosoma cruzi IgG in dogs using four chimeric IBMP antigens and latent class analysis. The IIF assay showed suboptimal sensitivity and overall accuracy compared to ELISA and LCA‐based methods.
