Somatic diversification of antibody responses
Journal of Clinical Immunology, 1996The humoral immune response is the culmination of a complex series of cellular interactions and migrations that define specific pathways of antigen-driven B cell differentiation. There are about 5 x 10{sup 8} and 10{sup 12} B lymphocyte lineage cells in the mouse and human, respectively, after the immune system has been established.

Antibody Response to Thyroid Irradiation
The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, 1964Serial measurements of thyroid auto-antibody titers by complement fixation and tanned red cell agglutination methods have been made in 30 patients with thyrotoxicosis, before and following treatment with radioactive iodine. A rise in titer by one or both methods was demonstrated in 18 subjects.
