Idiotypic characterization of antibody-induced antibody responses

open access: yesImmunobiology, 1982
Anti-idiotypic antisera were produced in syngeneic (C57BL/6) mice against a monoclonal anti-Dextran B512 (Dex) antibody (38-13). In radioimmunoassays, anti-idiotypic antibodies were shown to react with the homologous idiotype, while failing to recognize another monoclonal anti-Dex antibody, independently derived from C57BL/6 mice (D-16).

Immune Response of a Heterologous mRNA-1273 Second-Dose Immunization after a First Dose of ChadOx1 against SARS-CoV-2: A Cross-Sectional Study

open access: yesVaccines, 2022
Heterologous vaccination regimens could contribute to broadening vaccination coverage. To date, there is little evidence on the effectiveness of a combination of adenoviral COVID-19 vaccines with a second dose of mRNA vaccines.

Bereavement and marriage are associated with antibody response to influenza vaccination in the elderly [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Stressful life events exposure including bereavement, an event commonly experienced by elderly people, social support, marital status and satisfaction were examined in relation to antibody response to the annual trivalent influenza vaccination in an ...

Humoral immune response to different routes of myxomatosis vaccine application

open access: yesWorld Rabbit Science, 2018
The aim of our study was to monitor the dynamics of the serological response to different application routes of live attenuated myxomatosis vaccine. The study included 42 Californian breed rabbits, aged 3 mo, of both sexes.

Blood Antibody Titers and Adverse Reactions after BNT162b2 mRNA Vaccination

open access: yesVaccines, 2022
This study aimed to measure, considering a prior history of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection (SCV-negative/positive), antibodies titer using Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2 S immunoassay (Roche Diagnostics, Mannheim, Germany)

Immunofluorescent Examination of Biopsies from Long-Term Renal Allografts [PDF]

open access: yes, 1970
Immunofluorescent examination of open renal biopsies revealed clear-cut glomerular localization of immunoglobulins not related clearly to the quality of donor-recipient histocompatibility in 19 of 34 renal allografts.

Microneedle Delivery of an Adjuvanted Microparticulate Vaccine Induces High Antibody Levels in Mice Vaccinated against Coronavirus

open access: yesVaccines, 2022
This ‘proof-of-concept’ study aimed to test the microparticulate vaccine delivery system and a transdermal vaccine administration strategy using dissolving microneedles (MN).

Antibody Levels at 3-Years Follow-Up of a Third Dose of Measles-Mumps-Rubella Vaccine in Young Adults

open access: yesVaccines, 2022
Mumps outbreaks and breakthrough infections of measles and rubella have raised concerns about waning of vaccine-induced immunity after two doses of measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccination.

Sequence Space Localization in the Immune System Response to Vaccination and Disease

open access: yes, 2003
We introduce a model of protein evolution to explain limitations in the immune system response to vaccination and disease. The phenomenon of original antigenic sin, wherein vaccination creates memory sequences that can \emph{increase} susceptibility to ...
