Specific anti-antibody in transplantation

Experientia, 1968

Engineering antibody affinity and specificity

International Journal of Cancer, 1988
A combination of ab initio calculations, "knowledge-based prediction", molecular graphics and site-directed mutagenesis has enabled us to probe the molecular details of antibody:antigen recognition and binding and to alter the affinity and specificity of an antibody for its antigen.

Purification and specificity of antibodies to adenosine

Biochimie, 1977
Antibodies to adenosine were elicited in rabbits by immunization with bovine serum albumin-adenosine conjugate. The antibodies were purified and fractionated on two affinity columns (Sepharose-oligo(A) and Sepharose-AMP). Two families of antibodies have been obtained.

On the structure of a specific antibody site

Journal of Theoretical Biology, 1963
Abstract The specific combining region of an antibody molecule has been assumed to be a fixed property of the molecule. However, this assumption is unlikely if the antigen plays an instructive role in antibody formation. A simpler model of the specific site must be considered.

Development of an S-bioallethrin specific antibody

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 1978
Residue analysis of the pyrethrins and allethrin as well as newer pyrethroid insecticides not containing halogens such as resmethrin and phenothrin is expensive, tedious, and/or of poor sensitivity. The structure of such pyrethroids suggests that they can be analyzed quickly, inexpensively, and at low levels by radioimmunoassay.

SPECIFICITY OF TRANSPLANTATION HETEROPHILE ANTIBODIES

Transplantation, 1984
Sera of 154 recipients of renal allografts were studied for transplantation heterophile (T-H) antibodies by means of immunodiffusion, mixed agglutination (MA) and enzyme immunoassay (EIA). T-H antibodies were found by immunodiffusion against bovine red blood cell (BRBC) extracts (15%) and sheep red blood cell (SRBC) extracts (12%): The specificity of ...
