Anticardiolipin antibodies: clinical consequences of “low titers”
Obstetrics & Gynecology, 1996To clarify the implications of low levels of immunoglobulin (Ig)-G or IgM anticardiolipin antibodies.Women who underwent clinically indicated testing for antiphospholipid antibodies were divided into four groups based on results: 1) high-positive (lupus anticoagulant or more than 19 IgG binding units of anticardiolipin antibodies; N = 131), 2) low ...

MORPHEA WITH HIGH TITER OF FIBRONECTIN ANTIBODIES
International Journal of Dermatology, 1992AbstractA 20‐year‐old man with a 9‐year history of unusual subcutaneous morphea with nodular lesions in a circular arrangement and wooden‐hard symmetrical induration of the arms, had high liters of fibronectin antibodies. A possible role of fibronectin and antifibronectin antibodies in the pathogenesis of scleroderma is discussed.

Maternal Rh Antibody Titer and Amniocentesis
Pediatrics, 1968The January issue of Pediatrics carried an article by Dr. Lucey1 concerning the current indications and results of fetal transfusions. He makes a flat statement concerning the indication for amniocentesis to the effect that a maternal Rh antibody titer of 1:16 in the fourth or fifth month of pregnancy constitutes an indication for amniocentesis.

Rubella antibody titer. The significance of low-titered rubella antibodies.
Obstetrics and gynecology, 1978The hemagglutination inhibition (HAI) test is not mathematically precise and reproducible. Thus, it is critical to know whether or not the threshold titer (1 : 10) of detectable rubella antibody is indicative of true immunity. Three patients with a 1 : 10 HAI titer presented with subsequent rubella during gestation.

ANTIBODY TITER AND CLINICAL COURSE OF PEMPHIGUS
The Journal of Dermatology, 1977ABSTRACTThe relationship between the titer of pemphigus antibody and the clinical course of the disease was investigated in 15 patients with various types of pemphigus.Although antibody titers generally ran parallel to fluctuations of the clinical course, the elevation of antibody titer appeared to follow the re‐appearance or exacerbation of the ...

Increase of antibody titer following amniocentesis
American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 1968Abstract A retrospective study of 410 cases of amniocentesis revealed an associated 11.2 per cent incidunce of fetomaternal transfusion in volumes of 0.1ml. or more. Comparison of a study and control group howed a higher incidence of antibody titer increase in those cases complicated by fetomaternal transfusion.

Serum Viral Antibody Titer in Vestibular Neuronitis
Acta Oto-Laryngologica, 1993Fifty-seven cases of vestibular neuronitis were evaluated for viral infection by means of serum antibody titer. The viruses tested were herpes simplex virus, varicella-zoster virus, cytomegalovirus, EB virus, adenovirus, influenza virus A, influenza virus B, parainfluenza virus 3, mumps virus, rubella virus and measles virus.

Higher titers of antibodies to measles virus envelope antigens, hemolysin and hemagglutinin, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) capsid antigen and nuclear antigen, and rubella virus hemagglutinin were demonstrated in serum samples of patients with multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis than in age- and sex-matched control subjects. A significant correlation

Evaluation of Herd Serum Antibody Titers
American Association of Bovine Practitioners Conference Proceedings, 1996The presence of antibodies in an animal at vaccination will impair the immune response elicited by a vaccine. Cattle that have not developed an acquired immune response (either by vaccination or natural infection) are susceptible to impairment at much lower levels of passively acquired antibody than cattle with acquired immunity.
