Near‐Death Experience During Emergency Ketamine Use: A Case Report

We report a near‐death experience in a 73‐year‐old woman with acute respiratory failure who received an accidental 500 mg ketamine dose during intubation. Semi‐structured interviews revealed a vivid and evolving NDE narrative, followed by lasting psychological transformation, underscoring the clinical and research significance of NDEs in critical care.
