ABSTRACT Objective Facioscapulohumeral dystrophy type 1 (FSHD1) shows clinical heterogeneity that is only partly explained by D4Z4 repeat unit (RU) size. Although immune and inflammatory mechanisms may contribute to disease variability, the prevalence and clinical impact of autoimmune diseases in FSHD remain unclear.

Copine‐4 Paraneoplastic Autoimmune Encephalitis

ABSTRACT We characterize copine‐4 (CPNE4)‐IgG and report clinical associations. Among 844 samples with unclassified neural IgGs identified by mouse‐brain indirect immunofluorescence assay over 2 years, 5 samples (serum, 3; CSF, 2) from 3 patients produced a distinctive cerebrum‐restricted synaptic pattern.

An Integrated Oxygen‐Supplying Device and Predictive Multiphysics Model for Extended Ambient Transport of Insulin‐Producing Cells

Cell therapies typically rely on cold‐chain logistics and cryopreservation, limiting access and compromising cell quality. Here, a dual‐chamber device separates an oxygen‐supplying chamber from a hyaluronic acid cargo chamber, sustaining oxygen delivery for over 70 h and enabling ambient‐temperature shipment.
