This review surveys nanoparticle‐based strategies to enhance adoptive cell therapy, particularly CAR‐T cell approaches, in solid tumor treatment. It describes how nanoparticles can improve tumor immunogenicity and T‐cell infiltration while reducing toxicity, and how they enable in vivo CAR‐T cell generation.

The Putative Role of Human Peritoneal Adipocytes in the Fight against Bacteria: Synthesis of the Antimicrobial Active Peptide DEFA1-3 [PDF]
Background: Spontaneous peritonitis is a rather rare event, even in peritoneal dialysis (PD). As defensins are natural antimicrobial peptides, we hypothesized that adipocytes as the major constituents of the omentum could play an important role in ...

Bone cancer pain and depression share a common origin: astrocytic A2‐to‐A1 transition in the posterior piriform cortex. This phenotypic shift disrupts the ATP–adenosine–A2AR–norepinephrine axis, simultaneously driving nociceptive and affective dysfunction.

Short-Chained Linear Scorpion Peptides: A Pool for Novel Antimicrobials
Scorpion venom peptides are generally classified into two main groups: the disulfide bridged peptides (DBPs), which usually target membrane-associated ion channels, and the non-disulfide bridged peptides (NDBPs), a smaller group with multifunctional ...

Extraction Of Defensin Antimicrobial Peptide From SWISS-PROT Database Using Extended Boyer-More Algorithm. [PDF]
Antimicrobial Peptide (AMP) is a subset of protein that plays an essential role in innate immunity system. Researches on AMP are actively conducted in Immunology field where synthetics antibiotics are being developed. There are several classifications of

Sepsis‐associated encephalopathy (SAE) lacks effective therapies. We developed ME@FDsi, a biomimetic nanodrug using a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid to deliver disulfiram and siTNFα. It crosses the blood‐brain barrier, targets M1 microglia, inhibits pyroptosis and inflammation, and scavenges ROS.

Highly Flexible and Conformable ZnO/FeGa Magnetoelectric Heterostructures for Skin wound Healing
The magnetic field‐induced electric field generated by a highly flexile ZnO(piezoelectric)/FeGa(magnetostrictive) magnetoelectric heterostructure embedded in the low Young's modulus elastomer PDMS has been used to stimulate the wound healing processes.

A novel secretion and online-cleavage strategy for production of cecropin A in Escherichia coli
Antimicrobial peptides, promising antibiotic candidates, are attracting increasing research attention. Current methods for production of antimicrobial peptides are chemical synthesis, intracellular fusion expression, or direct separation and purification

We proposed a method based on the piezoelectric effect and fabricated an implant abutment on the basis of piezoelectric ceramic. Under physiological occlusal pressure, the oral motion‐powered smart dental implant abutments interacted with water and oxygen, promoting the formation of reactive oxygen species and achieving a synergistic and highly ...
