Aerosol‐Assisted CVD of Antimony Sulfide from Antimony Dithiocarbamates [PDF]

open access: yesChemical Vapor Deposition, 2006
AbstractAsymmetric antimony dithiocarbamates, Sb[S2CN(Me)R]3 (R = Bu, Hex, Bz), can be thermally decomposed under a dynamic vacuum to yield high‐purity Sb2S3 rods. These precursors do not, however, have sufficient volatility for low‐pressure (LP) CVD, but are soluble in organic solvents and can be exploited in aerosol‐assisted (AA) CVD.

Reduction of Sb(V) by coupled biotic-abiotic processes under sulfidogenic conditions

open access: yesHeliyon, 2021
Increasing use and mining of antimony (Sb) has resulted in greater concern involving its fate and transport in the environment. Antimony(V) and (III) are the two most environmentally relevant oxidation states, but little is known about the redox ...

Kinetics of stibnite (Sb2S3) oxidation at roasting temperatures [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mining and Metallurgy. Section B: Metallurgy, 2014
Experimental work on the oxidation of stibnite (Sb2S3) was carried out at temperatures between 350 and 500°C and oxygen partial pressures between 1.01 and 21.28 kPa by using a thermogravimetric analysis method. The oxidation rate of stibnite was
