Weak hydrogen bonding in the structures of three double‐acylated aminoantipyrines

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section C, Volume 81, Issue 12, Page 687-693, December 2025.
The structures of three doubly‐acylated 4‐aminoantipyrine compounds where the aryl substituent is varied are reported and analysed in terms of their relative conformation, intermolecular interactions and overall packing. The compounds were crystallized using the encapsulated nanodroplet crystallization (ENaCt) protocol. The structures of three doubly ...

Antimicrobial Potency and E. coli β-Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibition Efficacy of Phenazone-Based Molecules

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
In this investigation, 4-antipyrinecarboxaldhyde was reacted with methyl hydrazinecarbodithioate to afford the carbodithioate derivative 3. The as-prepared carbodithioate derivative 3 is considered to be a key molecule for the preparation of new ...

Convergent Recruitment of Cerebellar Purkinje Cells by Mechanistically Diverse General Anesthetics

open access: yesJournal of Neurochemistry, Volume 169, Issue 12, December 2025.
General anesthetics induce reversible unconsciousness; however, their underlying neural mechanisms remain unclear. Using active‐neuron whole‐hemisphere labeling, tissue clearing, and light‐sheet microscopy, we mapped the neurons commonly activated by three mechanistically distinct anesthetics in adult mice.

Development of Keap1‐Nrf2 Protein–Protein Interaction Inhibitor Activating Intracellular Nrf2 Based on the Naphthalene‐2‐acetamide Scaffold, and its Anti‐Inflammatory Effects

open access: yesChemMedChem, Volume 20, Issue 21, November 6, 2025.
Pyrrolidine‐type naphthalene‐2‐acetamide compound 5i inhibits Kelch‐like ECH‐associated protein 1 (Keap1)‐nuclear factor erythroid 2‐related factor 2 (Nrf2) protein–protein interaction by binding to the Keap1‐DC domain; it subsequently activates intracellular Nrf2 and induces Nrf2‐target genes.

Mitigation of corrosion of carbon steel in acid medium using some antipyrine derivatives

open access: yesZaštita Materijala, 2017
Adsorption and inhibition efficiency of some antipyrine derivatives on the C-steel (CS) in 1M HCl were estimated using three electrochemical techniques (electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), electrochemical frequency modulation (EFM) and ...

Serum Metabolomics of Patients with Hepatic Cystic Echinococcosis

open access: yesBiomedical Chromatography, Volume 39, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Hepatic cystic echinococcosis (HCE), a liver manifestation of hydatid disease, is among the 17 neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) prioritized by the WHO for eradication by 2025. Although imaging and serological tests are currently the main diagnostic approaches for HCE, they have notable limitations in sensitivity and specificity.

Copper(II) Complexes with Ligands Derived from 4-Amino-2,3-dimethyl-1-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one: Synthesis and Biological Activity

open access: yesMolecules, 2006
The synthesis of Cu(II) complexes derived from Schiff base ligands obtainedby the condensation of 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde or terephtalic aldehyde with 4-amino-antipyrine (4-amino-2,3-dimethyl-1-phenyl-3-pyrazolin-5-one) is presented.

Multienzyme (3‐in‐1)‐Mimicking a Single Nucleobase‐Derived Bionanozyme for Versatile Environmental and Biomedical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, Volume 14, Issue 24, September 18, 2025.
This study reports the development of bioinspired 2D crystalline Bionanozyme derived from a single nucleobase. It effectively mimics multienzyme activity to detect and remove phenolic pollutants, identify disease biomarkers with high sensitivity, and protect cells from oxidative stress.
