Highly specific antibodies for co-detection of human choline kinase α1 and α2 isoforms.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2010
BackgroundCholine kinase is the first enzyme in the CDP-choline pathway that synthesizes phosphatidylcholine, the major phospholipid in eukaryotic cell membranes. In humans, choline kinase exists as three isoforms (CKα1, α2, and β).

Rabbit Antiserum to Rat Deciduoma [PDF]

open access: yesBiology of Reproduction, 1972
Antiserum to rat deciduoma was produced in the rabbit. The antiserum had an inhibitory effect on deciduoma formation when injected into the uterine lumen of pseudopregnant rats immediately after traumatization of the uterus. Normal rabbit serum had no inhibitory effect.

Generation and initial characterization of a novel polyclonal antibody directed against homocysteine thiolactone-modified low density lipoprotein

open access: yesJournal of Lipid Research, 1998
Elevated plasma homocysteine (homocysteinemia) are presumed to be responsible for the development of coronary artery disease, however, the precise etiology is unclear.

Antibodies directed to antigens secreted by murine epithelioid macrophages modulate BCG-induced granulomata

open access: yesMediators of Inflammation, 1993
The authors have previously shown that epithelioid cells isolated from mice secrete a factor, called macrophage deactivating factor (MDF), that promptly deactivates superoxide release by activated macrophages and neutrophils.
