Resilience‐as‐doing: A relational model for living practice

Abstract Dominant frameworks treat resilience as a capacity to withstand disturbance and recover, something systems, communities or individuals either have or lack. This paper proposes a different understanding, grounded in relational onto‐epistemology and first‐person, practice‐based, autoethnographic inquiry situated within a household garden.

Caring with forests: Human and more‐than‐human care in forest occupations in Germany

Abstract Drawing on ongoing ethnographic and participatory action research within forest occupations in Germany, this paper develops the concept of ‘caring with forests’ to theorise the mutual, multidimensional relationships of care that emerge between humans and more‐than‐human beings in environmental protest settings.
