We uncover a large variety of putative inhibitory ligand‐gated ion channels (LGICs) in the phylum Cnidaria, the sister group to all bilaterian animals. Phylogenetic analysis suggests a complex evolutionary history of inhibitory LGICs with diverse neurotransmitter ligands.

Spatial Distribution of Phylogenetic Diversity of South American Anurans
Understanding the spatial distributions of phylogenetic diversity is an opportunity to support policy-makers and designing conservation strategies in megadiverse regions. Here, we mapped the spatial distribution of Faith's phylogenetic diversity (PD) and

Enhancing Maturation of Human Neuromuscular Organoids via Electrical Stimulation
A framework for on‐demand and non‐invasive exposure of human neuromuscular organoids (NMOs) to electrical stimuli is established to promote their maturation. The robustness and effectiveness of different stimulation regimes are evaluated via thorough characterization of organoid tissue structure and contraction capacity. Chronic electrical stimulation,

Post-metamorphic ontogenetic changes in head size and shape of the pool frog (Pelophylax lessonae, Ranidae) [PDF]
Post-metamorphic ontogenetic variations of head size and shape were investigated in the pool frog (Pelophylax lessonae, Ranidae). We showed that allometry is an important aspect of the post-metamorphic ontogeny of the pool frog as most of the differences

Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis infecting anurans in a protected area from Santa Fe Province, Argentina [PDF]
We collected 28 adult anurans belonging to six species (five Dendropsophus nanus, ten Hypsiboas pulchellus, one Leptodactylus latrans, ten Rhinella fernandezae, one R. schneideri, and one Scinax nasicus).

Corneal curvatures and refractions of Central American anurans
We employed neutralizing infrared videophotorefraction and photokeratometry to examine the manifest refractions and corneal curvatures of 21 species of anurans (frogs and toads) in five families (Dendrobatidae, Bufonidae, Centrolenidae, Leptodactylidae ...

The weakly‐solvating TFMSPyr electrolyte tailors the Li+ solvation structure by suppressing solvent coordination and promoting anion‐dominated solvation. This unique solvation environment induces preferential anion decomposition at electrode interfaces, forming robust inorganic rich S/CEI.

Rational engineering of terminal substituents in symmetric azobenzene‐based molecules enables precise control over conformationally coupled charge‐transfer processes. This design yields tunable nonvolatile resistive memory behaviors, ranging from write‐once‐read‐many‐times (WORM) to rewritable switching.
