Leader Succession and Strategic Change: The Role of Leader's Subgroups Size

open access: yesStrategic Change, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Research suggests that new CEO successors drive strategic change through the subgroup of their immediate collaborators. However, it remains unclear how this subgroup is configured. In this research, we address this limitation by introducing a new concept of “CEO's subgroup size” (the number of TMT members in the CEO's subgroup).

Human settlement as driver of bacterial, but not of archaeal, ammonia oxidizers abundance and community structure in tropical stream sediments

open access: yesFrontiers in Microbiology, 2015
Ammonia-oxidizing archaea (AOA) and bacteria (AOB) are a diverse and functionally important group in the nitrogen cycle. Nevertheless, AOA and AOB communities driving this process remain uncharacterized in tropical freshwater sediment.

Efficacy of omega‐3 fatty acids as a functional food: a multifaceted approach to health reinforcement

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, EarlyView.
Abstract Omega‐3 fatty acids (omega‐3s) are polyunsaturated fatty acids linked with numerous health benefits. Omega‐3s exhibit multifaceted activities through various mechanisms. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) alleviates oxidative stress by lowering reactive oxygen species and improving oxidative stress in brain tissues and acts against neurodegenerative ...
