[Apathy].

Apathy includes aspontaneous, indifferent behavior, with loss of motor and affective drive. Apathy is related to the disruption, at various anatomical sites, of frontosubcortical pathways, such as anterior cingulate and bithalamic lesions. Apathy was frequently reported in patients with Alzheimer's disease, post-stroke, and frontotemporal dementia.
