A Systematic Literature Review on the Cost-Effectiveness of Apixaban for Stroke Prevention in Non-valvular Atrial Fibrillation [PDF]
INTRODUCTION: Economic evaluations are becoming increasingly important due to limitations in economic resources, the expense of many new treatments, the need to allocate health spending as effectively as possible, and the need to inform decision makers ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Valoctocogene roxaparvovec, an adeno‐associated virus (AAV)‐based gene therapy, enables endogenous factor VIII (FVIII) expression in patients with severe hemophilia A without the need for regular FVIII infusions. Long‐term follow‐up assesses durability, safety, and immune‐related challenges following gene therapy.

Oral anticoagulants for primary prevention, treatment and secondary prevention of venous thromboembolic disease, and for prevention of stroke in atrial fibrillation:systematic review, network meta-analysis and cost-effectiveness analysis [PDF]
BACKGROUND: Warfarin is effective for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation (AF), but anticoagulation is underused in clinical care. The risk of venous thromboembolic disease during hospitalisation can be reduced by low-molecular-weight heparin (LMWH):

Role of comorbidities and medication on immunotherapy efficacy in cSCC: A DeCOG multicentre analysis
Immunosuppressive disease was associated with reduced overall survival, while anticoagulant use was linked to prolonged progression‐free survival in advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors. Host‐related factors may modulate immunotherapy efficacy and warrant prospective validation.
