An improved procedure for the purification of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus

open access: yesCanadian Journal of Plant Science, 1992
A reproducible procedure is described for the purification of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus (CLSV) from Chenopodium quinoa. Two cycles of sucrose density-gradient centrifugation in a magnesium-containing buffer were used. A relatively high yield of virus particles was obtained with little degradation observed.

Production and use of monoclonal antibodies for the detection of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus

open access: yesJournal of Virological Methods, 1989
Stable hybridoma cell lines secreting antibodies specific for the apple chlorotic leaf spot virus (CLSV) were produced by fusing spleen cells of a Biozzi mouse immunized with CLSV P863 strain, with the non-secretory P3 X63 Ag8.653 myeloma cell line. Two hybridoma clones producing monoclonal antibodies of the IgG1 subclass were obtained.

Characterization of apple stem grooving virus and apple chlorotic leaf spot virus identified in a crab apple tree

Archives of Virology, 2016
Apple stem grooving virus (ASGV), apple chlorotic leaf spot virus (ACLSV), and prunus necrotic ringspot virus (PNRSV) were identified in a crab apple tree by small RNA deep sequencing. The complete genome sequence of ACLSV isolate BJ (ACLSV-BJ) was 7554 nucleotides and shared 67.0%-83.0% nucleotide sequence identity with other ACLSV isolates.

In vitro translation of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus (ACLSV) RNA

open access: yesArchives of Virology, 1996
The genomic RNA of apple chlorotic leaf spot virus was translated in a rabbit reticulocyte lysate system, yielding a large, 190 K product as well as several other polypeptides of smaller size (60, 56, 22 and 15 kDa). The 22 kDa product was immunoprecipitated by an anti-ACLSV serum and comigrated with purified ACLSV coat protein. In vitro translation of
