Quasi-Uniform Codes and Their Applications
IEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 2013Quasi-uniform random vectors have probability distributions that are uniform over their projections. They are of fundamental interest because a linear information inequality is valid if and only if it is satisfied by all quasi-uniform random vectors. In this paper, we investigate properties of codes induced by quasi-uniform random vectors.

Application of Uniform Terminology to Practice
The American Journal of Occupational Therapy, 1989his document was developed to help occupa· tional therapists apply Uniform Terminology Second Edition to practice. A grid format (Dunn, 1988) allows a therapist to systematically identify an individual's deficit and strength areas and to select appropriate activities to address these areas in occupational therapy intervention.

Optimal data scheduling for uniform multidimensional applications
IEEE Transactions on Computers, 1996Summary: Uniform nested loops are broadly used in scientific and multidimensional digital signal processing applications. Due to the amount of data handled by such applications, on-chip memory is required to improve the data access and overall system performance.

Optimization Letters, 2021
This paper deals with the study of a new subclass of convex functions, namely uniformly convex functions. In fact, this class is a slight extension of the class introduced earlier by \textit{C. Zalinescu} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 95, 344--374 (1983; Zbl 0519.49010); Convex analysis in general vector spaces.

National Park Service Uniform Applications
2020107 pages ; This research explored the role of National Park Service uniforms in society. The aim is to better understand the wearers’ experiences and their social cognitive processes of the NPS ranger uniform. Further, this study relied upon the human lived experiences of NPS rangers and closely examined the role of women in the NPS historically ...

Uniform design: design, analysis and applications
International Journal of Materials and Product Technology, 2004A brief introduction is given to explain the fundamental idea of uniform design and measure of uniformity. A new variable selection procedure is proposed for the analysis of data obtained from uniform designs. This new procedure is distinguished from the traditional ones in the way that it simultaneously deletes insignificant variables and estimates ...
