ABSTRACT Gene expression profiling (GEP) is being used with increasing frequency to characterise canine tumours, but canine samples are often not collected in a medium to preserve RNA. Cytology samples from human tumours have been shown to provide adequate RNA for GEP using NanoString nCounter technology, suggesting a similar approach might be viable ...

In a 4T1 TNBC model, β‐elemene suppressed tumor growth and pulmonary metastasis. scRNA‐seq showed it remodeled the tumor microenvironment by reducing cancer‐associated fibroblasts, enhancing antigen presentation, and inhibiting pro‐tumorigenic ECM remodeling. Metabolomics revealed prostaglandin downregulation.

A Class of Extended Hypergeometric Functions and Its Applications
Recently, there emerges different versions of beta function and hypergeometric functions containing extra parameters. Gaining enlightenment from these ideas, we will first introduce a new extension of generalized hypergeometric function and then put forward some fundamental results in the paper. Next, we will derive some properties of certain functions

Bias of Odds Ratio Estimate in Fisher's Exact Test
ABSTRACT Objectives The odds ratio estimate in Fisher's exact test can overestimate the parameter. A simple computer simulation can easily reveal the positive bias of the odds ratio estimate from Fisher's exact test. Bootstrap can facilitate bias correction for the odds ratio estimate.

Integrated multi‐omics reveals that pomegranate ripening between 90 and 130 days drives optimal sugar‐acid balance and pigmentation via coordinated regulation of phenylpropanoid, flavonoid, and carbohydrate metabolism pathways. ABSTRACT Pomegranate fruit development involves coordinated physiological, metabolic, and proteomic changes shaping coloration

Expressions for some hypergeometric functions of matrix argument with applications
Reasonably simple expressions are given for some hypergeometric functions when the size of the argument matrix or matrices is two. Applications of these expressions in connection with the distributions of the latent roots of a 2 - 2 Wishart matrix are ...

Locally correct confidence intervals for discrete sampling distributions
ABSTRACT When a sampling distribution is discrete, the coverage of a confidence interval follows a sequence of peaks and troughs when plotted against the value of the parameter of interest. Then methods of forming a confidence interval must either be conservative, with a coverage that is almost always above the nominal confidence level, or give a ...

Hypergeometric τ-Functions of the q-Painlevé System of Type E₇⁽¹⁾
We present the τ-functions for the hypergeometric solutions to the q-Painlevé system of type E₇⁽¹⁾ in a determinant formula whose entries are given by the basic hypergeometric function ₈W₇.

Applications of Volterra's theory of composition to hypergeometric functions
The main results of this thesis are the generalizations of previous known results given by Hadamard (6), and Thielman (12) on integral addition theorems of Bessel functions, namely Theorems 5.8 and 5.9. Also an integral addition theorem, Theorem 5.10, for Laguerre polynomials is obtained; The methods used are based on the isomorphism which exists ...
