Clinicopathological and molecular characterization of HPV‐associated cervical poorly cohesive carcinoma: a rare aggressive entity

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology: Clinical Research, Volume 12, Issue 4, July 2026.
Abstract Primary signet‐ring cell carcinoma and poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma with poorly cohesive morphology in the cervix are rare conditions, and their clinicopathological features remain poorly described. This study defines primary cervical poorly differentiated adenocarcinomas meeting the diagnostic criteria for poorly cohesive carcinoma as

Dissecting Pirtobrutinib Resistance in Mantle Cell Lymphoma Through Single‐Cell Multi‐Omics

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Hematology, Volume 101, Issue 7, Page 1632-1649, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Pirtobrutinib (PBN), a non‐covalent BTK inhibitor, has been approved by the FDA for relapsed/refractory mantle cell lymphoma (MCL); however, resistance to PBN has been observed. To dissect the molecular dynamics driving PBN resistance, we performed integrative single‐cell multi‐omic profiling (scRNA‐seq, scATAC‐seq, and scDNA‐seq) on ...

Cingulate Gradient Dysfunction in End‐Stage Renal Disease: Associations With Clinical Phenotypes and Exploratory Transcriptomic Signatures

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 32, Issue 7, July 2026.
End‐stage renal disease (ESRD) patients exhibited significant cingulate gradient dysfunction, which was significantly correlated with multiple functional domains, serum urea, and hemoglobin levels. Spatially, these alterations were correlated with genes enriched in neurodegenerative pathways.

PVT1 lincRNA signals an androgen‐dependent transcriptional activation program of oncogenes in prostate cancer cells

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, Volume 159, Issue 1, Page 144-158, 1 July 2026.
What's New? Unraveling the networks that regulate androgen receptor (AR) function is critical to better understanding prostate cancer development and progression. Of particular interest in this regard is the long non‐coding RNA PVT1, which regulates gene expression in cancer and is upregulated in prostate tumors.

Characterisation and Comparative Evaluation of miRNA Contained in Small Extracellular Vesicles Isolated From Bovine Milk and Whey

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Biology, Volume 5, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Small extracellular vesicles (EVs) from bovine milk and whey are emerging as biologically active carriers of microRNA (miRNA), yet their composition and variability among different dairy sources remain incompletely understood. We conducted an integrated characterisation of EV‐associated miRNAs isolated from milk and whey collected from three ...

Decoding Biothreats With FT‐ICR‐MS: Metabotyping of Bacillus cereus Spores Through Untargeted Metabolomics

open access: yesJournal of Mass Spectrometry, Volume 61, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Genome sequencing is the gold standard for microbial identification. However, it fails to distinguish closely related species with overlapping genetic features. This is the case of Bacillus cereus and Bacillus cytotoxicus, two members of the B. cereus group with distinct pathogenic profiles. While B. cereus, a well‐known opportunistic pathogen
