Controllability results for weakly blowing up reaction-diffusion system
In this paper, we consider the controllability of a general reaction-diffusion system with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. We prove the exact controllability to the trajectories and the approximate controllability of the system which contains ...

On the Numerical Approximation of Problems of Impulse Controls [PDF]
Problems of impulse control arise in a large number of situations in inventory theory (cf. A. F. VEINOTT Jr.[1]).

On controllability and stability of uncertain systems [PDF]
In the first part of the work, we consider the problem of giving upper bounds for Ix(T) - z(T)I, the error between the final states of a nominal finite dimensional system x = Ax + Bu, x(O) = Xo, and of the system disturbed by multiple structured ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Approximate controllability of linearized shape-dependent operators for flow problems [PDF]
We study the controllability of linearized shape-dependent operators for flow problems. The first operator is a mapping from the shape of the computational domain to the tangential wall velocity of the potential flow problem and the second operator maps ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Approximate controllability of a parabolic integrodifferential equation
In this paper, we obtain the approximate controllability of a parabolic integrodifferential equation with interior controls. The proof relies on the linear operator semigroup theory and the controllability theory for abstract ...

Approximate controllability of the Jaynes-Cummings dynamics [PDF]
We investigate the controllability of the Jaynes-Cummings dynamics in the resonant and nearly resonant regime. We analyze two different types of control operators acting on the bosonic part, corresponding—in the application to cavity Quantum Electro ...
