Approximation method for monotone inclusion problems in real Banach spaces with applications

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2022
In this paper, we introduce an inertial Halpern-type iterative algorithm for approximating a zero of the sum of two monotone operators in the setting of real Banach spaces that are 2-uniformly convex and uniformly smooth.

Ovarian Sex Cord Stromal Tumors in Children and Adolescents—The European Standard Clinical Practice Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As part of the European Cooperative Study Group for Paediatric Rare Tumours initiative, we developed standard clinical practice guidelines for ovarian sex cord stromal tumors, based on comprehensive national and international cohort analyses, literature review, and a final expert consensus conference.

Infantile Central Nervous System Juvenile Xanthogranuloma With Somatic CSF1R Mutation Responsive to Imatinib Monotherapy

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Juvenile xanthogranuloma (JXG) of the central nervous system (CNS) is a rare non‐Langerhans cell histiocytosis. CSF1R mutations have been reported for peripheral JXG, but not in CNS JXG. A 3‐month‐old male presented with fever, lymphadenopathy, and macrocephaly with bulging fontanelles.

Well-posedness for parametric strong vector quasi-equilibrium problems with applications

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2011
In this article, we generalize the concept of well-posedness to the parametric strong vector quasi-equilibrium problem. Under some suitable conditions, we establish some characterizations of well-posedness for parametric strong vector quasi-equilibrium ...

Sequence-to-Sequence Stacked Gate Recurrent Unit Networks for Approximating the Forward Problem of Partial Differential Equations

open access: yesIEEE Access
We proposed an optimisation algorithm based on the sequence-to-sequence (Seq2Seq) stacking of the gate recurrent unit (GRU) model to characterise and approximate the forward problem of partial differential equations (PDEs).

A Population‐Based Study on Childhood Aplastic Anemia—Incidence, Outcomes, and Health‐Related Quality of Life

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Childhood aplastic anemia (AA) is a rare disease, and both the disease itself and its treatment cause significant morbidity. We aimed to determine the contemporary incidence of childhood AA in Finland, to compare the clinical characteristics of AA against inherited bone marrow failure syndromes (IBMFS) and refractory cytopenia of ...

Feedback Minimum Principle for Quasi-Optimal Processes of Terminally-Constrained Control Problems

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика", 2017
In a series of previous works, we derived nonlocal necessary optimality conditions for free-endpoint problems. These conditions strengthen the Maximum Principle and are unified under the name “feedback minimum principle”.

A hybrid inertial algorithm for approximating solution of convex feasibility problems with applications

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2020
An inertial iterative algorithm for approximating a point in the set of zeros of a maximal monotone operator which is also a common fixed point of a countable family of relatively nonexpansive operators is studied. Strong convergence theorem is proved in

Organoids in pediatric cancer research

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Homogenization in elastodynamics with force term depending on time

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
We extend the study on the homogenization problem for an elastic material containing a distributed array of gas bubbles to the case when the body force depends on time.
