Design of the distributed control systems of hydrolithosphere processes

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Геология и разведка, 2016
The important problem of designing of control systems for the hydrolithosphere processes is considered. Many hydrolithosphere processes are known to be described by partial differential equations (belonging to the class of distributed objects), which ...

Structural insights into lacto‐N‐biose I recognition by a family 32 carbohydrate‐binding module from Bifidobacterium bifidum

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Bifidobacterium bifidum establishes symbiosis with infants by metabolizing lacto‐N‐biose I (LNB) from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). The extracellular multidomain enzyme LnbB drives this process, releasing LNB via its catalytic glycoside hydrolase family 20 (GH20) lacto‐N‐biosidase domain.

Interplay between circadian and other transcription factors—Implications for cycling transcriptome reprogramming

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This perspective highlights emerging insights into how the circadian transcription factor CLOCK:BMAL1 regulates chromatin architecture, cooperates with other transcription factors, and coordinates enhancer dynamics. We propose an updated framework for how circadian transcription factors operate within dynamic and multifactorial chromatin landscapes ...

PREDICTION OF TITANIUM ALLOYS EROSIVE WEAR UNDER LONG-TERM DROPLET-IMPACT EFFECT

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Research, 2011
The approximating model for the definition of the steam turbines blades wear rate under the continuous operation through the droplet-impact erosion is built on the ground of the comparative analysis of the stand test data of the titanium alloy samples.

The example of BTJE flow path contamination assessment with anti-icing fluid using statistical models

open access: yesНаучный вестник МГТУ ГА
Contamination of the compressor flow path is one of the most prevalent issues encountered during the operation of aircraft gas turbine engines (GTEs). During operation in winter, ingestion of anti-icing fluids and de-icing agents into the compressor flow

Numerals under negation: Empirical findings

open access: yesGlossa, 2019
Despite a vast literature on the semantics and pragmatics of cardinal numerals, it has gone largely unnoticed that they exhibit a variety of polarity sensitivity, in that they require contextual support to occur felicitously in the scope of sentential ...

Real‐time assay of ribonucleotide reductase activity with a fluorescent RNA aptamer

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ribonucleotide reductases (RNR) synthesize DNA building blocks de novo, making them crucial in DNA replication and drug targeting. FLARE introduces the first single‐tube real‐time coupled RNR assay, which enables isothermal tracking of RNR activity at nanomolar enzyme levels and allows the reconstruction of allosteric regulatory patterns and rapid ...
