Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

The Approximation Property For Spaces For Holomorphic Functions On Infinite-dimensional Spaces I

open access: yes, 2015
For an open subset U of a locally convex space E, let (H(U), τ0) denote the vector space of all holomorphic functions on U, with the compact-open topology.

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Plate Heat Exchanger Optimization Using Different Approximation Assisted Multiobjective Optimization Techniques

open access: yes, 2012
This paper presents a comparison between different multiobjective optimization approaches that can be used to optimize the design of thermal equipment. Plate heat exchanger is taken as case study to apply different optimization techniques.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

On the numerical solution of the Dirihlets problem for the Poissons equation with fractional order derivatives

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2012
Difference approximation for the Caputo fractional derivative of the 4−β, 1 < β≤2, order is obtained in the work. The difference schemes for solving the Dirichlet's problem for the Poisson's equation with fractional derivatives are developed.

Structured Low-rank Approximation as a Rational Function Minimization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Many problems of system identification, model reduction and signal processing can be posed and solved as a structured low-rank approximation problem (SLRA).

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Multipoint moment functions of structural properties for polydisperse composites

open access: yesVestnik Samarskogo Gosudarstvennogo Tehničeskogo Universiteta. Seriâ: Fiziko-Matematičeskie Nauki, 2011
The stochastic boundary-value problem of elasticity theory for two-phase polydisperse composites is stated. The solution method with using high order moment functions is described.
