Prediction of Machine’s Centre of Gravity Dislocation with Monte Carlo Simulation

open access: yesActa Technologica Agriculturae
The estimation of machine‘s centre of gravity (COG) dislocation is presented in this article. Various types of agricultural tractors‘ parameters were analysed.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Nonlocal critical Kirchhoff problems in high dimension

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations
We study the nonlocal critical Kirchhoff problem $$\displaylines{ -\Big(a+b\int_\Omega |\nabla u|^2dx\Big)\Delta u =|u|^{2^*-2}u +\lambda f(x,u), \quad \text{in } \Omega,\cr u=0, \quad \text{on } \partial\Omega, }$$ where $\Omega$ is a bounded smooth ...

Improved initial approximation for errors-in-variables system identification

open access: yes
Errors-in-variables system identification can be posed and solved as a Hankel structured low-rank approximation problem. In this paper different estimates based on suboptimal low-rank approximations are considered.

The error-bounded descriptional complexity of approximation networks

open access: yes, 2010
It is well known that artificial neural nets can be used as approximators of any continuous functions to any desired degree and therefore be used e.g. in high - speed, real-time process control.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

The Empirical Saddlepoint Approximation for GMM Estimators

open access: yes
The empirical saddlepoint distribution provides an approximation to the sampling distributions for the GMM parameter estimates and the statistics that test the overidentifying restrictions.

Automated FRAP microscopy for high‐throughput analysis of protein dynamics in chromatin organization and transcription

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
RoboMic is an automated confocal microscopy pipeline for high‐throughput functional imaging in living cells. Demonstrated with fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP), it integrates AI‐driven nuclear segmentation, ROI selection, bleaching, and analysis.

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.
