Sampling invertebrates: aquatic environments

Abstract This chapter outlines the principles and conditions for use of some of the techniques used to sample invertebrates from aquatic habitats, both fresh¬ water and marine. Many of the principles and apparatus are similar for the two habitats, but there are numerous differences due to scale and ease of access.
