Diversity, activity, and effectiveness of Rhizobium bacteria as plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) isolated from Dieng, central Java

open access: yesIranian Journal of Microbiology, 2021
Background and Objectives: This study was aimed to isolate Rhizobium spp., from the plant rhizosphere and to investigate their effects on the growth of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) as plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR).

The "A" genome of Arachis hypogaea L.

open access: yesCYTOLOGIA, 1986
An attempt was made to find out the possible donor of the ‘A’ genome in Arachis hypogaea. For this, the chromosome morphology at pachytene was studied in Arachis correntina (Burk) Krap. et Greg. (Unpub. PI 331194) a diploid member of section Arachis.

Peanut Pods (Arachis hypogaea L.) In Ex-Mining Limestone Soil Enriched with Indigenous Bacteria

open access: yesJurnal Biota, 2021
Pioneer plants are found in the former limestone mining area, and there are bacteria in their root systems. These bacteria can be used as biofertilizers.

Bioorthogonal Tools for Ethanolamine Lipids and Protein Conjugates

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
An alkyne‐tagged ethanolamine analog (AlkEA) enables bioorthogonal, metabolic labeling of endogenous phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) and its protein modifications. AlkEA is incorporated into PE via the Kennedy pathway, allowing CuAAC‐based visualization of PE and affinity capture of PE‐conjugated LC3, ubiquitin, and GPI‐anchored proteins.

Physicochemical properties of new peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) varieties

open access: yesOilseeds and fats, crops and lipids, 2019
Peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) are one of the major oilseed crops of the world and are an important source of protein in many countries. In this study, some nutrients and characteristics of the seeds’ oil extracted from four peanut (Arachis hypogaea L ...

Genetics, genomics and breeding of groundnut (Arachis hypogaeaL.) [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Breeding, 2018
AbstractGroundnut is an important food and oil crop in the semiarid tropics, contributing to household food consumption and cash income. In Asia and Africa, yields are low attributed to various production constraints. This review paper highlights advances in genetics, genomics and breeding to improve the productivity of groundnut.

Genome-Wide Discovery and Deployment of Insertions and Deletions Markers Provided Greater Insights on Species, Genomes, and Sections Relationships in the Genus Arachis

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science, 2017
Small insertions and deletions (InDels) are the second most prevalent and the most abundant structural variations in plant genomes. In order to deploy these genetic variations for genetic analysis in genus Arachis, we conducted comparative analysis of ...

Arachis species: High‐quality forage crops—nutritional properties and breeding strategies to expand their utilization and feeding value

open access: yesGrassland Research, 2023
Plants of the genus Arachis originated from South America and are cultivated worldwide. The genus Arachis contains 83 species and nine intrageneric taxonomic sections. The cultivated peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) belongs to the Arachis section, the forage

Influence of temperature and diet on the development of Ulomoides dermestoides (Fairmaire, 1893) (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae, Diaperinae)

open access: yesBrazilian Archives of Biology and Technology, 2001
Ulomoides dermestoides (Fairmaire, 1893) develops in stored food products (peanuts, maize, oats, rice, sorghum, etc.) and breeds successfully in the laboratory.
