Chemical similarity among domesticated and wild genotypes of peanut based on n-alkanes profiles
The objective of this work was to analyze the epicuticular n-alkane profile of domesticated and wild peanut genotypes. Foliar epicuticular n-alkanes of four Arachis hypogaea genotypes and two wild species - A. monticola and A. stenosperma - were analyzed

Allergens in Peanuts and Allergen Reduction Methods
Peanut allergens adversely affect the health and quality of life of millions of consumers worldwide. The seeds of the peanut plant (Arachis hypogaea L.) contain a number of allergens that trigger the production of specific IgE antibodies in allergy-prone

Resistant Peanut Genotype Reprograms Rhizosphere Metabolism to Enhance Bacterial Wilt Suppression
The resistant peanut genotype selectively recruits beneficial bacteria, which coincides with the activation of salicylic acid (SA)‐dependent systemic acquired resistance (SAR) against Ralstonia solanacearum. Keystone rhizosphere metabolites are positively correlated with both beneficial microbiome assembly and SAR gene expression.

Arachis hypogaea shell – An approach towards waste utilization for cationic and anionic dye removal
In this work, the treatment of an anionic dye (Bromophenol Blue (BB)) and a cationic dye (Methyl Green (MG)) using activated biomass waste as an adsorbent was explored. Using Peanut shells as a precursor, chemically activated carbon was synthesized.

ABSTRACT The growing global demand for sustainable, nutritionally balanced protein sources has intensified interest in plant‐derived proteins, particularly those derived from oilseeds such as groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.). However, although groundnut protein isolates (GPIs) have high nutritional quality, they exhibit limitations in technofunctional ...
