Social media, high‐frequency trading, and market making after‐hours – Evidence from presidential tweets

open access: yesJournal of Financial Research, EarlyView.
Abstract I analyze differences between the core and extended trading sessions in the high‐frequency reaction of equity markets to potential news. Using presidential tweets as unanticipated, potentially market‐stirring events, I find that volatility increases and liquidity deteriorates within fractions of a second after a tweet.

Angiopoietin‐like protein 3 complete and partial deficiency markedly accelerates apolipoprotein B48 and B100 metabolism in triglyceride‐rich lipoproteins in humans

open access: yesJournal of Internal Medicine, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Angiopoietin‐like protein 3 (ANGPTL3) is a key circulating regulator of triglyceride metabolism and a promising pharmacological target. The physiological consequences of profound ANGPTL3 deficiency can be explored in individuals with inherited loss‐of‐function (LOF) variants, who show reduced lifetime risk of atherosclerotic ...

The Keystone‐Pathogen Hypothesis Updated: The Role of Porphyromonas gingivalis in Periodontitis

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
Porphyromonas gingivalis orchestrates a coordinated manipulation of immune and inflammatory responses in periodontal tissues which leads to the generation of a dysbiotic, subgingival biofilm community, and progression of periodontitis. The type 9 secretion system, lipid A modification, and the formation of outer membrane vesicles are important ...

Development and production of allogeneic cord blood‐derived red blood cell concentrates for transfusion to extremely preterm neonates, the All‐Cord study

open access: yesTransfusion, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Extremely preterm neonates often require red blood cell (RBC) transfusions derived from adult donors. These transfusions introduce adult hemoglobin into a neonatal hematopoietic system dominated by fetal hemoglobin (HbF), shifting the oxygen‐dissociation curve and increasing oxygen delivery to immature tissues.

THE LOGIC OF BINCAR-BONOM AND STRUCTURALISM ANALYSIS ON ROOM ARRANGEMENT OF DWELLING IN MANDAILING

open access: yesDimensi: Journal of Architecture and Built Environment, 2018
The structure on an idea of Singengu ancestor about Datu (Creator) which is gives tondi (spirit/soul) through direction of sun movement has established the logic of Bincar (sunrising direction) and Bonom (sunsetting direction).

The bacterial response regulator ArcA uses a diverse binding site architecture to regulate carbon oxidation globally.

open access: yesPLoS Genetics, 2013
Despite the importance of maintaining redox homeostasis for cellular viability, how cells control redox balance globally is poorly understood. Here we provide new mechanistic insight into how the balance between reduced and oxidized electron carriers is ...

Clinical Efficacy of Probiotic‐Based Ear Drops Containing Lactobacilli in Canine Erythroceruminous Otitis Externa: An Open Label, Multicentre Study

open access: yesVeterinary Dermatology, EarlyView.
Background: Otitis externa (OE) represents a common clinical problem in dogs. Allergic dogs exhibit reduced diversity of the otic microbiota, and inflammation‐induced changes in the ear canal microenvironment result in a further decline in microbial biodiversity.

Ripple Effects: Social Turmoil Following Infant Kidnapping Attempts in Wild Geladas

open access: yesEthology, Volume 132, Issue 7, Page 485-497, July 2026.
Graphical abstract illustrating the social consequences of infant kidnapping in wild geladas (Theropithecus gelada). The study monitors a 28‐day period divided into a 14‐day pre‐kidnapping phase and a 14‐day post‐kidnapping phase. ABSTRACT Infant kidnapping is an extreme social disruption reported in some primate species, yet its consequences on social
