5G on the Roads: Latency-Optimized Federated Analytics in the Vehicular Edge
Coordination among vehicular actors becomes increasingly important at the dawn of autonomous driving. With communication serving as the basis for this process, latency emerges as a critical limiting factor in information gathering, processing, and ...

Seagrass Meadow Distribution Mapping in the Coastal Lagoon of Buan Island, Anambas
Seagrasses are vital monocotyledonous marine flowering plants that serve as essential food sources for megaherbivores, contribute significantly to organic carbon production, and offer a multitude of crucial ecosystem services.

A perturbative expansion scheme for supermembrane and matrix theory
We reconsider the supermembrane in a Minkowski background and in the light-cone gauge as a one-dimensional gauge theory of area preserving diffeomorphisms (APDs).

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Weakly Supported Plane Surface Reconstruction via Plane Segmentation Guided Point Cloud Enhancement
Most of the widely used multi-view 3D reconstruction algorithms assume that object appearance is predominantly diffuse and full of good texture. For the objects that violate this restriction, the surface can hardly be reconstructed because such area ...
