CartoSR: An attention-enhanced deep GANs for single map super resolution reconstruction
Maps are fundamental media for people to comprehend the spatial and temporal dimensions of a place. Currently, the majority of maps are generated through volunteered efforts, which significantly extends the critical and participatory aspects of ...

Public space as a palimpsest: Revitalising Yukari neighbourhood conservation area [PDF]
The concept of palimpsest space in architecture is used to describe spaces where past and present meet and overlap, carrying traces of the past and entities of the present at the same time. Therefore, palimpsest spaces are valuable in creating a sense of

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Non-Stationarity of Chaotic Motions in an Area Preserving Mapping [PDF]
Summary: The power spectrum and the Allan variance are calculated numerically for the standard mapping. The \(f^ {-\nu}\) spectrum is obtained in a wide parameter regime. The sojourn time distribution around the main resonance is clarified to be hyperbolic. These results show that the chaotic orbits are endowed with a kind of nonstationarity.

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...
