Array Tomography: Production of Arrays

Cold Spring Harbor Protocols, 2010
INTRODUCTIONArray tomography is a volumetric microscopy method based on physical serial sectioning. Ultrathin sections of a plastic-embedded tissue are cut using an ultramicrotome, bonded in an ordered array to a glass coverslip, stained as desired, and imaged.

Arrays of parametric receiving arrays

The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1972
Theory is presented to describe the response of arrays whose elements consist of parametric end-fire receivers. The results of measurements on arrays containing up to four elements are presented in support of the theory. Electronic steering of this type of array is also addressed.

Array generation with lenslet arrays

Applied Optics, 1991
Lenslet arrays can be used as phase gratings, having many diffraction orders with equal intensity. Applications are multiple imaging and illumination of arrays of optical or optoelectronic devices in digital optics. The homogeneity of the intensities within the array can be improved by using field lenslets.

Protein Arrays II: Antigen Arrays

2017
Antigen arrays are fabricated using various antigens such as DNA, histones, synthetic peptides, recombinant proteins, or cell extracts to detect autoantibodies in autoimmune diseases, alloantibodies in transplantation, drug-induced antibodies or cancer-induced antibodies in blood or cell culture supernatant.

Protein Arrays I: Antibody Arrays

2017
Antibody arrays represent one of the very early protein array systems where antibodies are used to capture and detect target proteins in a high-throughput platform. The development of high-quality antibodies, nanomaterial-based novel detection probes, as well as innovative imaging technologies and computational tools has tremendously improved the ...

Multielectrode Arrays

2020
Multielectrode arrays (MEAs) are grids of substrate-integrated microelectrodes that allow for electrophysiological interrogation of dissociated cell cultures or tissue slices. Here we discuss the use of nonimplantable electrodes for studies. The methods described attempt to provide a starting point for researchers new to the field who wish to begin to ...

Immunodetection Array

2009
A novel procedure for DNA methylation analysis is described that characterizes the extent of DNA methylation in CpG islands. The basic concept relies on direct immunodetection of 5' methylcytosines (5' mCs) without the need for bisulfite treatment utilizing a microarray format.

Arrays and Array Manipulation

2000
Virtually every type of application, program, and component uses arrays for data storage—regardless of the programming language used. While Visual Basic lets you easily create arrays, it contains no intrinsic methods for most common tasks for working with arrays. You need to write your own subroutines (or take advantage of those written by someone else)

Printing protein arrays from DNA arrays

Nature Methods, 2008
We describe a method, DNA array to protein array (DAPA), which allows the 'printing' of replicate protein arrays directly from a DNA array template using cell-free protein synthesis. At least 20 copies of a protein array can be obtained from a single DNA array.
