Journal of Ecology, Volume 114, Issue 4, April 2026.This study tested whether combining high tree species richness with mixed mycorrhizal types (arbuscular mycorrhizal [AM] and ectomycorrhizal [EM] fungi) enhances productivity in forest ecosystems.
