Segmentation and Vascular Vectorization for Coronary Artery by Geometry-based Cascaded Neural Network [PDF]
Segmentation of the coronary artery is an important task for the quantitative analysis of coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) images and is being stimulated by the field of deep learning. However, the complex structures with tiny and narrow branches of the coronary artery bring it a great challenge.

Ubiquitination of transcription factors in cancer: unveiling therapeutic potential
In cancer, dysregulated ubiquitination of transcription factors contributes to the uncontrolled growth and survival characteristics of tumors. Tumor suppressors are degraded by aberrant ubiquitination, or oncogenic transcription factors gain stability through ubiquitination, thereby promoting tumorigenesis.

Characterization of a new apolipoprotein E5 variant detected in two French-Canadian subjects
We have found a novel apoE5 mutation, using isoelectric focusing (IEF), in two apparently unrelated French-Canadian subjects. Co-dominant inheritance was demonstrated in the family of the first proband, a healthy male subject.

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

MPSeg : Multi-Phase strategy for coronary artery Segmentation [PDF]
Accurate segmentation of coronary arteries is a pivotal process in assessing cardiovascular diseases. However, the intricate structure of the cardiovascular system presents significant challenges for automatic segmentation, especially when utilizing methodologies like the SYNTAX Score, which relies extensively on detailed structural information for ...

The role of vascular complexity on optimal junction exponents [PDF]
We examine the role of complexity on arterial tree structures, determining globally optimal vessel arrangements using the Simulated AnneaLing Vascular Optimization (SALVO) algorithm, which we have previously used to reproduce features of cardiac and cerebral vasculatures.
