Dual-band Artificial Magnetic Conductor
Applied Physics A, 2012A dual-band Artificial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) is presented in this paper. The proposed metasurface is based on a spiral geometry in which an additional resonance has been introduced thanks to a physical understanding of the structure’s behavior. The design is compact and the two frequency bands can be adjusted independently.

On the bending effects on artificial magnetic conductors
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 2012AbstractIn this letter, we present the performance of a typical artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) under different bending extents. Square patch array‐based AMC is employed as a benchmark to demonstrate the dependence of AMC characteristics on the degree of curvature. We show that increasing the extent of bending leads to a shift to a higher resonance

Characteristic Estimation of Artificial Magnetic Conductors
Electromagnetics, 2010Abstract This article proposes a model for estimating the phase of reflection coefficient and the resonant frequency of artificial magnetic conductor structures, which are composed of an array of frequency selective surface elements at the interface of a grounded dielectric slab.

A TRIPLE BAND ARTIFICIAL MAGNETIC CONDUCTOR: DESIGN & ANALYTICAL MODEL
Progress In Electromagnetics Research Letters, 2022|A triple band Arti(cid:12)cial Magnetic Conductor (AMC) featuring zero re(cid:13)ection phase at 1.18 GHz, 1.59 GHz, and 2.45 GHz is designed and modeled. The two lower frequencies are intended for GNSS while the upper one is for ISM applications.

A low profile artificial magnetic conductor based tri‐band antenna for wearable applications
Microwave and optical technology letters (Print), 2021A wearable flexible tri‐annular square ring monopole antenna with artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) is proposed. The antenna operates at the ISM band (2.28–2.51 GHz, 5.2–6 GHz) and at WiMAX band (3.5‐4GHz) for wireless body area network (WBAN ...

Circuit Model of a Double-Layer Artificial Magnetic Conductor
IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters, 2016This letter presents a circuit model to design a double-layer square artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) with a small period relative to the wavelength in the UHF band. The miniaturization is achieved thanks to a square patch array printed alternatively on each side of a thin dielectric substrate. These closely spaced arrays cause a high grid impedance

Miniaturized bendable 400 MHz artificial magnetic conductor
Applied Physics A, 2016A bendable artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) with a resonant frequency of 400 MHz is proposed. The dimensions of the unit cell are 50 × 50 mm2 or 0.07 × 0.07 λ0. The miniaturization is achieved with closely coupled patches printed on each side of a 0.127-mm-thick dielectric substrate.
