MicroRNA expression levels in lung recipients: correlations with clinical and laboratory data

open access: yesВестник трансплантологии и искусственных органов, 2020
Objective: to evaluate the expression levels of miRNA (miR-27, miR-101, miR-142, miR-339 and miR-424) and its relationship with clinical and laboratory parameters in lung transplant recipients. Materials and methods. The study included 57 lung recipients

A clinical case of using therapeutic plasma exchange for the treatment of recurrent focal segmental glomerulosclerosis in a child after kidney transplantation

open access: yesВестник трансплантологии и искусственных органов, 2021
Background. Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) of the graft in kidney recipients is a rare and difficultto-diagnose post-kidney transplant complication, which can lead to graft loss and death of the recipient.

Functional efficiency of pancreatic cell-engineered construct in an animal experimental model for type I diabetes

open access: yesВестник трансплантологии и искусственных органов
The creation of a cell-engineered pancreatic construct (CEPC) from islets of Langerhans and biocompatible matrix carrier (framework/scaffold), which imitates the native microenvironment of pancreatic tissue, is an approach to the treatment of type I ...

Machine Learning‐Supported Analysis for Predicting and Visualizing Nonlinear Relationships Between Material Properties in Electroplated Chromium Layers

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study applies machine learning regression to predict chromium layer thickness in decorative trivalent chromium electroplating, using 441 experiments from laboratory‐scale (1L) and pilot‐scale (14L) setups. Tree‐based models, particularly CatBoost, outperformed linear regression by capturing nonlinear parameter interactions (R2$R^2$ up to 0.77 ...

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

Mechanical Behavior and Fracture Mechanisms of MXene/PVDF Nanocomponsites: In Situ Characterization and Multiscale Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multiscale experiments and modeling reveal how Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets reinforce PVDF nanocomposites. An optimal MXene loading (∼1 wt.%) nearly doubles tensile strength through efficient stress transfer, flake alignment, and crack‐deflection mechanisms, transforming ductile polymer behavior into a controlled multi‐stage fracture pathway which aligns ...
