Abstract Golf courses throughout the southern United States have begun converting fairways from hybrid bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon × C. transvaalensis Burtt‐Davy) to manilagrass [Zoysia matrella (L.) Merr.]. Recognition (trifloxysulfuron + metcamifen) can be tank‐mixed with fluazifop to gradually remove hybrid bermudagrass during conversion ...

Abstract Quizalofop‐p‐ethyl (QPE) can control glufosinate/glyphosate‐resistant corn (Zea mays L.) volunteers in corn resistant to aryloxyphenoxypropionates (Enlist corn). Mixing QPE with broadleaf herbicides such as 2,4‐D choline can be antagonistic. A new precision sprayer with a dual tank/boom system can apply two herbicides simultaneously through ...

Resistance of barnyardgrass biotypes (Echinochloa crus-galli) to ACCase-inhibiting herbicides in the main rice-growing regions of the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil [PDF]
: The resistance of Echinochloa crus-galli (barnyardgrass) to cyhalofop-p-butyl has already been confirmed in rice fields in Santa Catarina, Brazil. However, it is not known if this resistance affects other ACCase inhibitors.

Abstract The sorghum [Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench ssp. bicolor] germplasm lines Tx3499–Tx3503 (Reg. no. GP‐948–Reg. no. GP‐952, PI 706257–PI 706261) were developed by the Texas A&M AgriLife Research sorghum breeding program in 2024. These lines are resistant to acetyl‐coenzyme A carboxylase (ACCase)‐inhibiting herbicides used for post‐emergence control

Evaluation of Factors that Contribute to Injury to Quizalofop-Resistant Rice from Quizalofop Applied Postemergence [PDF]
Quizalofop-resistant rice technology allows for over-the-top applications of quizalofop, an acetyl-coenzyme A carboxylase-inhibiting herbicide. However, quizalofop caused significant injury to quizalofop-resistant rice in some Arkansas fields during the ...

RNA and protein abundance are indicative biomarkers of enhanced metabolism to fenoxaprop and mesosulfuron herbicides in black‐grass. An improved understanding of the association of RNA and protein biomarkers with enhanced metabolic resistance will help unlock the potential of the future development of herbicide diagnostic assays.
