Osobennosti diagnostiki, klinicheskoy kartiny i lecheniya zabolevaniy, assotsiirovannykh s papillomavirusnoy infektsiey

Integrated Engineering of CAR‐T Cells for Solid Tumours

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
Solid tumours pose multifactorial barriers including antigen heterogeneity, immunosuppressive microenvironment, and poor T‐cell trafficking, limiting CAR‐T efficacy compared to hematologic malignancies. Integrated engineering strategies are essential, combining logic‐gated receptors for precision, metabolic‐epigenetic reprogramming for resilience, and ...

The Impact of a Structured Communication and Body Language Course on Empathy and Nonverbal Communication Awareness Among Dental Students: A Comparative Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Dental Education, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Effective communication and empathy are core competencies in patient‐centred dental care. However, structured training in these skills is often limited in dental curricula. This study explored the association between a structured communication and body language course and dental students awareness of nonverbal communication, empathy ...

Homologous recombination mutants cause differing lethality between h− and h+ Schizosaccharomyces pombe strains due to mat1 heterochromatin

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Homologous recombination (HR) in Schizosaccharomyces pombe is essential when mating‐type switching–induced double‐strand breaks (DSBs) form at the mat1 locus. In h90 and h− strains, efficient mat1 DSB formation renders HR indispensable unless suppressors block these breaks.

Synergistic engineering of Casδ nuclease for robust genome editing

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, EarlyView.
A hierarchical engineering strategy was used to enhance the editing activity of Casδ, yielding an optimized variant termed enCasδ. This variant enables robust genome editing in animal cells and plants, with overall editing performance comparable to that of SpCas9 and other Cas12 nucleases.

Diagnostic value of high-risk HPV E6/E7 mRNA in patients with ASCUS

open access: yesBMC Women's Health, 2023
Objective To investigate the infection status of high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) E6/E7 mRNA in patients with a cytological diagnosis of “atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance” (ASCUS) and to analyze the pathogenic rate of different

The IKU2/RLK7–MAPK–MINI3 signaling module controls endosperm cellularization timing to determine seed size in Arabidopsis

open access: yesJournal of Integrative Plant Biology, EarlyView.
The phosphorylation status of the WRKY transcription factor WRKY10/MINI3, controls the timing of endosperm cellularization in Arabiopsis, thus regulating final seed size, offering a molecular understanding that could inform future agricultural breeding strategies. ABSTRACT Seed size is a critical factor in determining crop yield.

Utilization of human papillomavirus testing for cervical cancer prevention in a university hospital Utilização de método de biologia molecular para papilomavírus humano na prevenção do câncer de colo uterino em um hospital universitário

open access: yesCadernos de Saúde Pública, 2007
This study aimed to evaluate the performance and cost of using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and hybrid capture in the detection of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) in patients with cytological abnormalities (ASCUS/low-grade squamous ...

Characterization of Sec14 Domain–Containing Proteins in the Malaria Parasite Plasmodium falciparum

open access: yesMolecular Microbiology, EarlyView.
During asexual blood‐stage development, P. falciparum Sec14 proteins display distinct localizations suggesting specialized roles in lipid exchange. PfSec14‐1 initially localizes to the nucleus before moving to the ER and Golgi alongside PfSec14‐4 during schizogony.

Turnip mosaic virus utilizes the lipid droplet biogenesis machinery to facilitate its propagation in plants

open access: yesNew Phytologist, EarlyView.
Potyvirus turnip mosaic virus induces neutral lipid accumulation and lipid droplet biogenesis in infected leaves for its own benefit. Summary Lipid droplets (LDs), which are dedicated to storing neutral lipids (NLs), are dynamic organelles involved in numerous other functions, including membrane remodeling during abiotic stress.
