A novel mouse model of gallbladder preneoplasia secondary to diet‐induced stones progresses in parallel with intense inflammation. Ezetimibe inhibits stone formation, inflammation, and metaplasia–dysplasia development. Aspirin does not reduce stone formation, however, ameliorates inflammation and preneoplasia onset (but only in a low‐cholesterol diet).

Adjuvant statin therapy for oesophageal adenocarcinoma: the STAT‐ROC feasibility study
After oesophagectomy for oesophageal adenocarcinoma (OAC), the 5‐year survival rate is currently only 30 per cent. There is strong observational evidence that statin use is associated with reduced all‐cause and cancer‐specific mortality in patients with OAC.

Coronary artery aneurysms (CAAs) are uncommon in coronary angiography, and left main coronary artery aneurysms are rare. There is no consensus for the treatment of CAAs. A young patient with left coronary artery aneurysm diagnosed by coronary angiography and with recurrent acute myocardial infarction was treated with rivaroxaban and aspirin.
