Empirically Defining “Recurrent” Inappropriate Compensatory Behaviors: Differentiating Binge Eating Disorder From Bulimia Nervosa‐Spectrum Disorders

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective For multiple disorders, DSM‐5‐TR criteria include “recurrent” engagement in behaviors—for example, in the criteria for binge‐eating disorder (BED), “binge eating is not associated with the recurrent use of inappropriate compensatory behavior.”—without operationalizing how frequently a behavior needs to occur to be considered ...

Effect of alkaline stress on germination, growth and physiological traits of two safflower cultivars

open access: yesپژوهش‌های بذر ایران, 2015
In order to study the effect of alkaline stress on seed germination and seedling biochemical characteristics of two safflower cultivars, a laboratory experiment was conducted based on a completely randomized design with three replications in the Vali-e ...

Gibbs Free Energy‐Driven Li–MgF2 Composite Anodes for Stable Solid‐State Lithium Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A Li–MgF2 composite anode has been engineered through a Gibbs free energy‐driven reaction of molten Li with MgF2. Benefiting from the synergistic effect of the LiF and LixMg segregated structure, the Li–MgF2|garnet interface achieves a low interfacial resistance of 8.2 Ω cm2, and the Li–MgF2|garnet|Li–MgF2 symmetric cells accomplish ultrastable cycling

Discharge‐Driven Turbo Formation Stabilizes Cathode–Electrolyte Interfaces in Sulfide All‐Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This work examines formation protocols for stabilizing the cathode–electrolyte interphase (CEI) in sulfide all‐solid‐state batteries, highlighting a special turbo discharging protocol discovery. The methodologies presented here show strong potential for integration into emerging artificial intelligence–driven frameworks. Formation protocols dictate the

Konkani ASR

open access: yes, 2023
Konkani is a resource-scarce language, mainly spoken on the west coast of India. The lack of resources directly impacts the development of language technology tools and services. Therefore, the development of digital resources is required to aid in the improvement of this situation. This paper describes the work on the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR)

Design Approaches for Oxygen Reduction Systems for Warehouse Storage Applications

open access: yesFire and Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Oxygen reduction systems (ORS) are protection systems, with a design protection objective to limit fire spread beyond the point of ignition. Research has shown that the prescriptive design methods, in VdS 3527, EN 16750, and ISO 20338, are not appropriate as prescriptive design methods as they result in insufficient protection levels.
