Fully Bio‐Based Gelatin Organohydrogels via Enzymatic Crosslinking for Sustainable Soft Strain and Temperature Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Enzymatically crosslinked gelatin‐based organohydrogels, fabricated through a fully bio‐based and scalable process, exhibit exceptional strain and temperature sensing capabilities with minimal interference from environmental humidity. These transparent, stretchable, and ionically conductive materials operate without synthetic fillers or dopants.

Biointerface Membranes Orchestrating Site‐Specific Osteoimmunomodulatory and Antibacterial Effects for Enhanced Osseous Regeneration in Periodontal Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, a biointerface membrane engineered with site‐specific interfacial properties is developed. During implantation between gingival and bone defect, the membrane creates a pro‐osteogenic microenvironment, precisely modulates cellular activities at each biointerface, and facilitates the orchestration of complex healing events, ultimately leading to ...

Judgments, forecasts and decisions: an analysis of fund managers over time [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Decision theory is the study of models of judgement involved in, and leading to, deliberate and (usually) rational choice. In real estate investment there are normative models for the allocation of assets. These asset allocation models suggest an optimum

Breathable Graphene Oxide‐Polymer Composite Membranes With Two‐Step Barrier Mechanism Against Nerve Agents

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Breathable membranes that reject chemical warfare agents (CWAs) are required for next‐generation protective apparel. A dual‐function graphene oxide (GO)‐polyamine architecture is introduced that addresses the long‐standing tradeoff between vapor transmission and CWA selectivity.

SiO2‐CaOCME/Poly(Tetrahydrofuran)/Poly(Caprolactone) 3D‐Printed Scaffolds Drive Human‐Bone Marrow Stromal Cell Osteogenic Differentiation

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
3D printed hybrid scaffolds combining bioactive silica–calcium chemistry with elastic polymers guide human bone stem cells to form bone. The scaffolds support cell survival, organization, and invasion while releasing osteogenic ions. Together, architecture and composition drive bone‐specific gene expression, extracellular matrix organization, and ...

Bankruptcy and Collateral in Debt Constrained Markets [PDF]

open access: yes
Typical models of bankruptcy and collateral rely on incomplete asset markets. In fact, bankruptcy and collateral add contingencies to asset markets. In some models, these contingencies can be used by consumers to achieve the same equilibrium allocations ...
