Semantic data modeling of hypermedia associations

ACM Transactions on Information Systems, 1993
Many important issues in the design and implementation of hypermedia system functionality focus on the way interobject connections are represented, manipulated, and stored. A prototypic system called HB1 is being designed to meet the storage needs of next-generation hypermedia system architectures.

Chaos associative memory model

2004 IEEE International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37541), 2003
In this paper we propose a chaos dynamic memory model applied to the chaotic autoassociation memory. The present artificial neuron model is properly characterized in terms of a time-dependent sinusoidal activation function to involve a transient chaotic dynamics as well as the energy steepest descent strategy.

Models of distributed associative memory.

2013
This work is concerned with the problem of constructing associative memory models which store and retrieve information in a distributed fashion - that is each store location can be involved in the storage of more than one piece of information. The models are to be logically simple in form and efficient in their use of store.

The Role of Associative History in Models of Associative Learning: A Selective Review and a Hybrid Model

The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology Section B, 2004
Associative learning theories strive to capture the processes underlying and driving the change in strength of the associations between representations of stimuli that develop as a result of experience of the predictive relationships between those stimuli.

Selective Association in Associative Memories – An Extension of the Model NEUNET

2007
The neural-net-similar associative memory model NEUNET is able to store and reproduce patterns reading from its receptors. This article describes an enhancement of the model to associate faulty or incomplete inputs with weighted original patterns. The network is self-learning, the correction of inputs, the storage of new information and the calculation

On Associations in the Unified Modelling Language

2001
Associations between classifiers are among the most fundamental of UML concepts. However, there is considerable room for disagreement concerning what an association is, semantically. These have implications for the modeller because they can result in serious misunderstandings of static structure diagrams; similarly, they have implications for tool ...

Entropy Based Associative Model

2006
In this paper, an entropy based associative memory model will be proposed and applied to memory retrievals with an orthogonal learning model to compare with the conventional autoassociative model with a quadratic Lyapunov functionals. In the present approach, the updating dynamics will be constructed on the basis of the entropy minimization strategy ...

A general model for disease‐marker association

Annals of Human Genetics, 1983
SummaryA general model for analysing disease‐marker associations from a random sample of patients and controls is given, assuming an arbitrary number of marker and disease susceptibility alleles. A method for testing the goodness‐of‐fit of various disease susceptibility models to the observed distribution of genotypes at the marker locus in patient and
