Modified Genetic Algorithm and Association Rule Mining for the Retail Sector

open access: yesJournal of Information Systems and Informatics, 2023
This paper concentrates on the optimization of elementary association rule mining. The basic approach of association rule mining generates the positive association rule but focusing on both positive and negative association rule mining to find out ...

Coverage-Based Classification Using Association Rule Mining

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Building accurate and compact classifiers in real-world applications is one of the crucial tasks in data mining nowadays. In this paper, we propose a new method that can reduce the number of class association rules produced by classical class association

Optimization of Association Rule Using Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) Approach

open access: yesWasit Journal of Computer and Mathematics Science, 2023
The Apriori algorithm creates all possible association rules between items in the database using the Association Rule Mining and Apriori Algorithm. Using Ant Colony Optimization, a new algorithm is proposed for improving association rule mining results.

A GENERAL SURVEY ON FREQUENT PATTERN MINING USING GENETIC ALGORITHM [PDF]

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Soft Computing, 2012
In recent years, data mining is an important aspect for generating association rules among the large number of itemsets. Association rule mining is one of the techniques in data mining that that has two sub processes. First, the process called as finding

Online association rule mining [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 1999 ACM SIGMOD international conference on Management of data, 1999
We present a novel algorithm to compute large itemsets online. The user is free to change the support threshold any time during the first scan of the transaction sequence. The algorithm maintains a superset of all large itemsets and for each itemset a shrinking, deterministic interval on its support.

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.
