Progress in Stereoselective Haloamination of Olefins
The regio- and stereoselective adjacent bifunctionalization of olefins with amine and halogen groups can be effectively accomplished through catalytic haloamination methods.

Influence of functional rider and horse asymmetries on saddle force distribution during stance and in sitting trot [PDF]
Asymmetric forces exerted on the horse's back during riding are assumed to have a negative effect on rider–horse interaction, athletic performance, and health of the horse.

Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

We present a procedure for handling asymmetric errors. Many results in particle physics are presented as values with different positive and negative errors, and there is no consistent procedure for handling them. We consider the difference between errors quoted using pdfs and using likelihoods, and the difference between the rms spread of a measurement

Inclined asymmetric librations in exterior resonances
Librational motion in celestial mechanics is generally associated with the existence of stable resonant configurations and signified by the existence of stable periodic solutions and oscillation of critical (resonant) angles.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Asymmetric and time-varying error-correction: an application to labour demand in the UK [PDF]
In this paper we compare the asymmetric and time-varying error-correction models that have recently been proposed, and apply these to the case of UK aggregate labour demand. The aim of the paper is to investigate the possible co-existence of time-varying

Symmetries between Untwisted and Twisted Strings on Asymmetric Orbifolds
We study symmetries between untwisted and twisted strings on asymmetric orbifolds. We present a list of asymmetric orbifold models to possess intertwining currents which convert untwisted string states to twisted ones, and vice versa.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.
