Development of a Three‐Axis Planar Hall Magnetoresistance Sensor Using a Superparamagnetic Nanoparticle‐Based Flux Guide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

THE ASYMMETRIC DOMINANCE EFFECT IN THE CHOICE OF TRAVEL DESTINATION: AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY [PDF]

open access: yes
The asymmetric dominance effect refers to a decision-making bias in which individuals are more likely to choose a target option when a clearly inferior decoy is added to the choice set, making the target look better by comparison. This study investigated

Bio‐Inspired Synthesis of Macroporous Single Crystal Particles as Scattering Agents

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A general strategy is presented that delivers unique, single‐crystal microparticles that combine submicron macroporosity and uniform particle shapes. A bioinspired approach is used to occlude three distinct types of additives – polystyrene microspheres, polymer vesicles and amino acids – within calcite single crystals, and subsequent thermal annealing ...

Giant Magnetic Coercivity Driven by Spin‐Bag Ferromagnetism in Epitaxial Sr3YCo4O10+δ Films with Engineered 2D Oxygen Vacancy Ordering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A giant magnetic coercivity and a vertical shift of hysteresis loops are demonstrated in Sr3YCo4O10+δ epitaxial films. The hard magnetic behavior originates from ferromagnetic spin bags stabilized within a long‐range ordered oxygen‐vacancy structure.

Detail-Free Mechanism Design in Twice Iterative Dominance: Large Economies ( Revised version of CARF-F-007(2004) and CARF-F-062(2005); The further revision was subsequently published in "Journal of Economic Theory" as a regular article. ) [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper investigates unique implementation in large economies with incomplete information and interdependent values; we degenerate the common knowledge assumptions and assume that a central planner is unaware of the specifications of an environment ...

Economic foraging in a floral marketplace: asymmetrically dominated decoy effects in bumblebees

open access: yesProceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences
While most models of decision-making assume that individuals assign options absolute values, animals often assess options comparatively, violating principles of economic rationality. Such ‘irrational’ preferences are especially common when two rewards vary along multiple dimensions of quality and a third, ‘decoy’ option is available ...

Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. ABSTRACT Moiré superlattices formed at the interfaces

Implantable Ionic Memristors Based on Natural Polymer Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report an implantable natural polymer‐based ionic memristor composed of hyaluronic acid, chitosan, and PDMS. The device achieved 98.94% accuracy in MNIST classification while reducing training time by 36.8% compared with a conventional artificial neural network (ANN).

Indolo‐Fused MR‐TADF Materials and their Application in Organelle‐Targeted Bioimaging

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Using indolo‐fusion and sulfur bridging, four multi‐resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescent (MR‐TADF) materials are reported based on the quinolino[3,2,1‐de]acridine‐5,9‐dione (QAO) framework. Functionalization of these dyes with phosphonium groups enables cellular imaging with mitochondrial targeting in glassy organic nanoparticles ...
