Development of a Human 3D Immune‐Competent Neurovascular Model Enabling Time‐Resolved Monitoring of Neuroinflammatory Dynamics and Neuroimmune Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neuroinflammation alters blood–brain barrier integrity and contributes to neurological disorders, yet existing models lack human immune complexity. This study presents a 3D, immune‐responsive platform that reconstructs key neurovascular components and enables real‐time monitoring.

Rumor Spreading Model Considering Individual Activity and Refutation Mechanism Simultaneously

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
With the rapid development of social networks, an increasing number of factors will affect the spread of rumors. In this paper, we simultaneously consider individual activity differences and rumor-refuting nodes, and we propose a new multifactor model ...

Asymptotic spreading of competition diffusion systems: The role of interspecific competitions

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Applied Mathematics, 2012
This paper is concerned with the asymptotic spreading of competition diffusion systems, with the purpose of formulating the propagation modes of a co-invasion–coexistence process of two competitors. Using the comparison principle for competitive systems, some results on asymptotic spreading are obtained.

Physics‐Constrained Constitutive Learning of Rate‐Limiting Timescales for Efficient Hydrogen‐Based Direct Reduction for Green Steel Making

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A conversion‐resolved constitutive framework is developed for the hydrogen‐based direct reduction of iron oxide pellets. Effective reaction and transport timescales are inferred directly from measured trajectories and mapped against operating conditions, pellet architecture, and composition. The analysis reveals how late‐stage transport control emerges

Note on Asymptotic Prime Divisors, Analytic Spreads and the Altitude Formula [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1981
The main result gives several characterizations of Noetherian domains that satisfy the altitude formula in terms of analytic spreads and asymptotic prime divisors.

FOS3D: A Fluorescence‐Enabled Toolkit for Characterizing a Three‐dimensional Osteosarcoma Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
FOS3D describes fluorescent (F) osteosarcoma (OS) cells in a tri‐dimensional (3D) model. The study comprises three phases: development, where biofabrication parameters are tuned to achieve cytocompatibility and tumor‐specific mechanical properties in cell‐laden gelatin methacryloyl constructs; validation, where whole‐well fluorescence reading is ...

Electrodeposited Piezoelectric Chitosan Films: A New Approach Toward a Scalable and Standardized Fabrication of Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Electrodeposition is explored as an innovative and scalable approach to fabricate standardized and highly piezoelectric chitosan films. Chitosan deposition is driven onto gold‐coated silicon plates by an applied voltage. Films’ piezoelectricity is clearly proved and correlated to the material structural order.

Fast propagation for nonlocal delay equations with slowly decaying initial values

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2012
This article concerns the long time behavior of solutions to nonlocal delay equations when the initial values decay slowly at infinity towards the unstable steady state.
